Tutti123’s travel blog entry: “Today the wake up time is substantially better. 7:45 I a getting picked up. Today it is wine tasting in Barrosa Valley. This is the most well know valley for wines in Australia. We will see if the wine are at a desireable standard. Our first stop is breakfast stop. Without this stop I would have nothing in my tummy to manage through the day, thus there is quite a few wine tasting to do!! First Winery stop – Jacob Creek – it is 10:30 – this is the oldest cellar within the regioin and supposed to have the best wines..UHHH!!! I try 3 whites, 2 Reds and 1 sweet wine….I have to say that they are all below average! Too young for my likes very similar to the DON SIMON we have in Spain. Second Stop – Vine Crest – it is 11:45 – this is a small cellar. Here I taste 6 different wines; 1 white, 3 reds, 1 rose and 1 sweet wine. Once again we try the really young wines ….. I am not liking too much but the alcohol is doing its work. Here I must say that the only one that is acceptable is the sweet wine!! Third stop – Richmond grove – it is 12:30 – I am starting to feel the other wines…I am not too sure why, but I feel happier. Here I taste 5 wines and they are all below average for my taste. Isn’t there any good wines in this region? Maybe there are but not the ones I
