Joseph Favre, el tátara abuelo de Jesús Vulliez llegó junto con inmigrantes franceses y suizos en 1857 a poblar La Colonia San José y Colón. La bodega volvió a reactivarse en 2003. Tiene una superficie con viñedos para vinificar de diez hectáreas de las cuales tres se encuentran en el mismo predio de la bodega. El suelo es franco arenoso, profundo y con buena permeabilidad. Tiene una capacidad de producción de 80 mil litros. La producción actual es de 54 mil litros. Las variedades implantadas son blancas Chardonnay, y tintasnbsp;/span/b/spanbspan style=”color: #b45f06;”Malbec, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Tannat, Sangiovese y Pinot Meunier. nbsp;Elabora vinos blancos, rosados, tintos varietales, de corte y un espumoso con metodo champenoise. La cepa Tannat es la más representativa del lugar. Jesús Vulliez está trabajando en el cultivo de Sangiovese, Caladoc, Aspiran Bouchet y Cabernet Franc. nbsp;Esta bodega es la única de la zona y elabora vinos para otros bodegueros.
